Grain by Grain
Commissioned by the Cleveland Foodbank for its new facility. 160 cast resin tiles will be mounted in a grid to form a translucent wall 8 ft. wide and 11 ft. tall. A single slice of bread will be cast inside each tile. Backlighting will transform the wall into a glowing mosaic of bread. The types of bread will display a wide variety of colors and shapes, reflecting the diversity of the Foodbank’s staff and clients.
